Air Sahara offers new low fare scheme Anonymous writes " New Delhi : Taking on low-cost carriers, Air Sahara today announced a new scheme under which fares as low as 80 per cent of the normal ones would be offered depending on the number of seats available on a particular flight. Tickets could be purchased under this new scheme without advance bookings and passengers could now travel on Air Sahara flights at a cost of Rs 2.40 per kilometre, airline President Alok Sharma said here. This was announced by Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi at the inauguration of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) 2007, the annual conclave of the Indian diaspora, here Sunday.
