Panaji : Goa will usher in four-day-long eat, drink and be merry extravaganza when the traditional carnival celebrations begins from February 17.

The state tourism department will host special carnival parades in cities starting from Panaji on the first day.

"We are expecting at least 30,000 tourists to visit during these days as carnival is a special occasion for Goa," a tourism department official said.
